Jamesy P is nominated for Soca Song of the year for Nookie at The 13th Annual Reggae Soca awards in Ft Lauderdale Florida USA. Also in this category are Alison Hinds,Destra Garcia,Edwin Yearwood.

Trinidad carnival

Shurwayne Winchester is now the Groovey Soca Monarch and Power Soca Monarch of Trinidad carinival 2006. Winchester had a controversial win over arch rival Bungi Garlin with his song "I Can't Wait". The huge crowd witnessed their three favourites place in the top3 with Bungi Garlin coming second and Iwer George third with "We Reach". The road is now set for Winchester to do the hat trick as the road march title is drawing to a conclusion.

Blues Fest 2006 held at Buccama on The Bay located on the west coast of St.Vincent was the biggest ever in the four year history of the festival.Super RnB group One Twelve gave their best infront of a huge crowd on Friday 3rd February.They were supported by local Artiste,Skarpyon, Bomani Ackcess and especially Rob zi Taylor from St.Lucia who all gave the performance of their lives to a very proud Vincy audience.The highlight on Saturday night was Jeffrey Osbourne who gave his monies worth as the crowd were soothed by his rich soul vocal tones for an exciting 90 minute set.The warm up acts of Canela however stole the show with an energetic sexy latin set.Photos to follow.BLUES FEST PHOTOS
